Yea I agree this one that I got is just a piece of crap!
not reliable, does not hold its value, inaccurate, terrible to shoot.
somehow I have managed to work about 6000 rounds near as can figure through this one with no real problems but I am just waiting for It to fly apart.
I can't seem to get this one to reliably shoot either left/ right or low????
apparently another problem with it!---------------------:bang:
I like my Browning best, the Ruger Mk next and the Berettas last, the Sig is kind of in the middle.
The browning fits my hand well and is very smooth an accurate, the Ruger also has good ergonomics but not quite as good as the Browning, the Berettas are the most ergonomic of the bunch and I have yet to meet anyone tht doesn't like the feel of them.
the beretta also Is very easy to pop an optic on the rail and remove and never disturb the iron sights, They are also by a wide margin the easiest to disassemble and clean.
If the berettas had better triggers they they would be hands down my favorite 22.
Makes one wonder with all these 22 shooters and the recommendations why not so many at the monthly pistol shoot outs, you know so they can really brag bout their favorites.

Well, all that you point out about the Neos must be an extremely well kept secret! That has got to be the reason why a used Ruger MK, as well as a number of other .22's hold more value then a new Neos. Maybe that is also why there are so very few of the Berettas ever seen in any serious .22 pistol competitions.
I know of a few people in my gun club that shoot the Berettas.... they swear by them. They also bought them because they were cheap to buy and when they actually go shoot them, every 3 or 4 months or so, they have few problems while going through a whole 50 round box of ammunition!
I like all kinds of guns, including 2 Berettas complete with the nifty carbine kit you could buy when they first came out.... as long as any particular gun shoots for any particular person to enjoy it is a fun gun. It is the same reason they make so many different flavors of ice cream!

Don't know?
I would suspect that the reason that the rugers/ Brownings ,etc have more resale value is because they are more expensive to purchase new?
same reason that used Taurus 1911 in these parts may bring 350 bucks, and new cot under 425?
compare that to a Springer/Colt/Dan Wesson and they will always be worth more used than a taurus 1911 new, at least in these parts.
I would think if one was serious about competition with a 22 pistol they would be looking at the 1000-1200 dollar Beretta target model not the Neos that is a plinker?
same wth a S&W 41, or a Hammerli?
theres a difference in a plinker and a competition weapon in my opinion.
When you've tried the best, why mess with the rest.
I'm sure the Beretta shoots just fine. I just can't get past the fugly. That's a matter of personal aesthetics and YMMV. I've had this latent desire for a Browning Buckmark, too. None of these pistols are all that unaffordable. Academy has good prices on Brownings. I may get one, like I need another .22 pistol.
