From SC. I have had several Taurus revolvers and loved them. I recently bought a 745 Pro Mil. and love it until it started jamming using HP. She shoots any hardball ammo but don't like those expensive Hornaday SD JHP! Now I am scared and thinking about selling since it jams. I love it, the weight and size has most others beat IMO. Btw, I keep it clean. Has anyone got any suggestions- I really don't want to sell it but I sure am spooked now!

Thanks in advance :)

Welcome from East Texas to the best gun forum on the internet.

By Hornady SD are you talking the ones that are true hollow points (flat nosed when looked at a side view and hollow cavity) or the Critical Defense ones with the red plastic tip in them? My PT1911 will only reliably cycle the Critical Defense ones because they (I think) more closely resemble a round nose FMJ round.

BTW you might start this in the 700 forum to get more responses to your question as well.
