My name is Brian,I live in rural southeastern Wisconsin with my wife, pets, livestock, gardens and businesses. I am beginning to expand my enjoyment of firearms into studying gunsmithing and possibly firearms instruction. I started studying gunsmithing 20 years ago and stopped because the course I was enrolled in was not challenging enough. I felt I was wasting my time and a lot of money not learning much. Since then I have realized how much I really want to work on guns professionally. I enjoy reloading....a lot. I really find it enjoyable to start with basic load data and some components, and work up the perfect load(is there really?). I started loading for my .22 Hornet and enjoyed it so much I started loading for my pistols as well. Varmint hunting is HUGE here and building and accurizing any and all varmint rifles is especially attractive. I love my handguns and would also like to be able to do some building and basic mods. I just recently purchased my first Taurus pistol and am just REALLY impressed with what I got for the money. It took me minimal time to work up a load to feed it that is reliable and appropriate to the use. Since factory ammo is just not available anymore, I am really pleased. I hope to add more Taurus models when funds allow.
