My name is steve. I'm new to firearms, just bought a 24/7 pro .40. Took it to the range the day I bought it and had the range officer show my how to shoot it. I want to keep going to the range now it was so fun. I got the gun because I live in a somewhat bad neighborhood in Tampa. I live with my fiancee and a cocker spaniel(more likely to play fetch with an intruder than scare them away) and I want to be able to protect us all. The site here is great, I've learned a lot of things already.

Welcome to the forum, glad to have you with us. I have a spaniel also and he thinks he's under the mistaken impression that he's actually a rottweiler.
