I have a model 94, 9-shot .22LR (1993). Single action pull is a more or less consistent 3.5 lbs on eight of the nine chambers, but the ninth is about 5 lbs, which spoils accuracy. It's always the same chamber.

With my untrained eye I can't spot the problem with the ratchet, if that's even the cause.

Help please.

Sounds like the cylinder is in a little of a bind somewhere. Could the case heads be binding? Or the cylinder itself be binding at the forcing cone?

Nope. I've got daylight at the b/c gap and at the case heads for all nine chambers after lockup.

Could the ratchet be defective for that chamber? I mean maybe the hand can't make the propper contact at that one point on the star?
