I "pulled the trigger" on the Taurus 66. Got it used from a website in MA. Go figure.

It's dirty and has been shot some, but purchase, shipping and transfer fee and I have a little over 3 bills in it. Can't wait to get it to the range!

Can you tell I'm a little excited?

Thank again everyone.

Quiks, I hadn't made the connection to the "Mother Road". Too funny. My cake won't get here till next Sunday. We'll see what jumps out of it. :)

Well, I tore it down and gave it a good cleaning. It is in really good shape. The trigger has some surface pits on it, but they went away with a little 400 grit sandpaper. Smooth double-action pull and crisp break. Cylinder has tight lockup with almost no rotation or end play. All oiled up and ready for the range. Gonna try to get out there this weekend. can't wait!
