Yeah, I just saw the email as well. Just checked mine on their website, mine is not affected. So that's good news at least.

Thanks, mines one of the bad ones, and hope to get a response from them soon

WOW. That's not good, and a real bummer for owners of those pistols.

I wish Taurus showed half that much urgency about their bad TX22 barrels.

Absolutely, don’t think I’ve ever dropped a weapon, but will still send it in ASAP

Well, the TX22 barrel is not likely a danger to life and limb.

Doesn't mean it doesn't suck...but you know what I mean.

Got the same email and will check this afternoon to see if mine’s affected by the notice.

My gun is affected, but once I submitted my information, there were no further directions. Are they going to send a label to be sent off, or is that on us? I emailed them about it but haven't heard back. If anyone has heard otherwise, please let me know. This is the first time having to do this, so I'm not sure what the protocol is for mailing a gun.
Ugh...I'll have to wait to check when I get home. Anyone know around what time frame the faulty GX4's were manufactured?

I’ve gotten nothing back from them as well. Seems like I would have received a label immediately, very strange

Patience might be in order in this case. Consider that the email just went out and there are potentially tens of thousands of people who are all trying to get the same answer right now.

That's the bright side of things. Start with that, then after a week or two of the same you can start to panic. 🤪

Geez, not again. Why is it so hard to build a pistol that isn't a drop sensitive (under any circumstance)?

I agree completely, my frustration is the time spent on the phone. When I’ve called Sig or Glock for example, 2 or 3 minutes and I’m speaking to someone

Just checked mine and it’s good to go. Not affected by the recall. I was kind of surprised since I bought mine not long after they were first released.

Good luck to those that are affected, and hope it’s a quick turnaround for you.

I understand that, hold time is never good time.

That's another thing...it doesn't seem to be a recall. It's a 'safety notice'. 🤔
