Hello all. I've recently purchased a Gx4 and went to the range today for the first time with it. I thought it was great... Although when i got home i decided i should clean it just to get use to field stripping it. I noticed the muzzle is not longer perfectly round... "also was not looking down the barrel in this photo was using my phone to the side." This can't be normal? Was using just regular 9mm ammo from Winchester.

When you field strip your pistol, hold one end of the barrel toward a light source and look through the other end. You’ll see what I mean. Enjoy your new pistol.

:)...a Bravo Zulu to you for asking, far better to question something that's right than to miss something that's wrong. Congrats on the new gun, enjoy!

Ammo will get you through times of no money, better than money will get you through times of no ammo.

Ahhh. Paraphrasing the Furry Freak Brothers. Only they said "dope" where you said "ammo".

It's hard to see these pictures because the focus isn't good. But if you're talking about the rough edge, burrs around the inside circumference of the the barrel's end, I had that same before I ever shot the gun the first time. Just bad finishing.
