GX2 Fail to Feed need some ideas

My GX2 has experienced fail to feed issues almost every time I have taken it to the range. Initially I wrote it off to it needing to be broken in. It has less than 350 rounds shot through it, so do I need to just shoot it more, or should I try polishing the feed ramp?

I thought maybe it was the OEM magazines, so I purchased 2 Mec-Gar 15 round magazines, I have tried new magazines, but no real difference, still has issues, typically 2 to 3 times every 50 rounds.

I have labeled my 4 mags so next time I at the range I can catalog the number of Fail to Feed issues, based on individual magazines.

I am really interested in hearing from other GX2 owners to find out if this is a common issue or not.

TIA

Don't have a GX2 but it wouldn't hurt to polish the feed ramp and disassemble the mags, clean them and hit the insides with some dry lube. Polish every place you see wear (metal to metal). What ammo? Hollow points only or FMJ, as well?

Thanks,
Using 2000 grit wet dry paper, I did very lightly touch up the rear edge of the feed ramp where it felt like there was a slight wire edge, much like you get when you sharpen a knife blade. I have taken the mags apart and cleaned and lubed with Hornady One Shote cleaner / dry lube. Also the gun was just cleaned using the Hornady One Shot.
All I have shot in this gun is 115 gr FMJ, a couple of different brands, was not careful to log which brand I was shooting when it failed to feed.
My plan is to take the barrel out today and polish the ramp with some metal polish then go to the range with some dedicated 124 FMJ rounds.

I would be very careful while polishing - a dremel tool with a felt wheel & agressive polishing compound can remove more metal than you plan, something I discovered years ago (fortunately, on a 'spare' barrel). Since then, I've done all of that kind of work by hand, with little pieces of 1000/1500/2000 grit paper wrapped around a piece of dowel or tubing. IMHO, FWIW, YMMV, etc., etc...

Don't know if your pics are pre or post polishing, if post, follow Bad Bob's above advice using a dowel and fine grit paper (that's how I do it) followed up with the mag polish then Flitz. Try as I might, I can't get decent pics of my feed ramps, all of which have a mirror finish.

Have you checked the mouths of your magazines? One or more may have a burr inside.

Update,
I took the GX2 to the range today, took all four mags and 100 rounds.
Shot 25 rounds from each mag, no fail to feed episodes.
This ammo was different from what I have been using, it was Winchester 124gr NATO , previously I personally had only shot 115 gr from Monarch, Winchester and Herter's. A friend shot about 10 rounds of his personal reloaded 124 gr rounds and experienced one fail to feed.
The photos are of the ramp after I polished it, I did not get any before pictures.

I will inspect and clean the gun again and take it back to the range and shoot another 100 rounds of the 115gr I have in stock, unfortunately I have allowed the rounds from the various manufactures to get mixed so I will have to sort them as best I can based on the stampings.

I am very hope full that the polishing has cured the issue.

Thanks to all for the input and suggestions.

Here is a good reference guide.

So I too the GX2 to the range again today to check the fail to feed issue using the sane ammo I was shooting when the original issue showed up. I shot 100 rounds of Monarch 115 gr and 20 rounds of Winchester 115 grain, no issues at all, that is 220 rounds total through the gun since I polished the feed ramp and no issues. I am more confident now that I have solved the problem.
