Day One is Media Day.

Sorry everyone but there isn't anything from Taurus shown on Day One. However, there is a pic of an XD with a manual safety, looks quite a bit like a Taurus safety (based on the 1 pic).

Hopefully they'll have some Taurus offerings shortly.

The S&W Model 325 .45 ACP looks appealing however. :D

That's the Night Guard series I'm all excited about. They'll be 4 versions all with the matte black finish. 2 "L" frames---the .357 and the 44 Special AND 2 "N" frames-- the 45 ACP and 44 Magnum. They are made of Scandium with a stainless steel cylinder coated in "ion diamond bond". Compac Pachmyar grips and rear sight by Cylinder and Slide is standard along with XS Xpress tritium front sight.

Can you tell I want one...or all 4? ;D
Tell me it wont have the internal gun lock....

It does...u can see it in the pic. ALL S&W revolvers come with it. No way around it except don't use it. Don't believe all the BS you hear about lightweight snubbies locking up when firing magnum loads cause that's all it is---BS. I'm sure it's possible it could have happened but not at the rate some of these mindless twits on other forums have stated.
BTW----you WILL see pics of the PT-809 from this show.
A gun smith that I trust says they are known to lock up if you drop them and that worries me. Also its my opinion a gun should never have a lock on it. Cant shoot something thats locked. I dont mind range guns having them, but its the guns I carry or will use in a self defense situation that I care not to have a lock. Just a personal preference. This is one of the reasons I would rather carry a Glock with out the manual safety, just squeeze the trigger and its ready.

That being said that sure is a good looking revolver.
Day 2 is posted, yes this is Day 1 of the actual show.

As I scan the pics I spot a couple of things of interest.
The Charter Target 44 Special should appeal to the 44 Special fans (yes, I know it isn't a Taurus but its something to increase interest in the caliber).
The Ruger 380 appears to be an actual, functional carry gun from Ruger (yes, I know that many of their guns can be carried but this one is sized nice).

So many nice offerings on Day 2! I think I'm enamored with this MSAR rifle the most however. Hopefully real-world prices for it will be somewhat less than they'd be for a Steyr-AUG. ;D

Hey, on day twos photos, 12 photos down on the right hand side. What the heck is a Taurus 709?

I came here looking for info, and none is to be found and Google had nothing to boot.
Never heard of it till I just saw it. It might be a single stack 9mm in an updated Millenium Pro frame.
It figures, I take a nap and a shower and they post the next days pics!

The 709 appears to be a modified Mil Pro. I'm hoping that its thinner that the current versions. Then again, I'm guessing.

My question is what is a 5mm Magnum? Its now available in a Tracker

Since the GB posted another Ruger 380 pic I'm thinking that they like it and will be doing a review in the future. I still think I want one.

Entirely brand new offerings. Well the 709 and Tracker in 5mm Remington Magnum. Subsequent information should be forthcoming over the next few days.

I hope that 709 doesn't have a manual safety.
In that pic it looks similar to the take down lever in Glocks and Sigmas. Boy that would be sweet. ;D

for some great photos from Shot Show and, best of all, three GREAT photos of the PT709 stating it is a slim 8+1 9mm pistol. I also want the ruger above it......
