I picked up a 3 inch 44 Magnum. It's the older style revolver. I want to shop some grips. I'd like something like an Eagle Grips Secret Service Grip. I have pretty small hands. Wood or rubber, maybe. It has a round butt.

Suggestions?

I've bought hardwood grips from the eBay sellers in Thailand. The recoil of the 44 and even 357 makes me like rubber better. Maybe hogues? Welcome from northern Illinois!

When I had a 629 S&W, a 65 S&W, and a 66 Taurus, I found the Pachmayr Gripper worked best for me. It padded the back strap and was not to wide to get a good grip. On my J-Frames I prefer the Pachmayr Compacts.

I don't see a Pach for the M/L frames. Looking like Hogue or square butt is about it...

Personally, I like rosewood. The rubber will provide more cushion, obviously. Either way, that's a punisher you got there!

I'm now wondering how similar this Taurus is to the Smith N Frame...
