Just got a new PT 1911 and want to change grips on it..what screws do I use..Id like some stainless ones..the OE ones are quite fuguly...even though the gun shoots like a dream..thanks in advance for the input...

The first thing you would learn is that the head of the factory Taurus grip screws are larger than standard. This results in the screws not fitting into the recesses in the grips.

Other than Taurus, grip screws are standard (except for ones for thin grips). It makes no difference what brand you buy. Midway sells grip screws in blue and stainless in several brands. I prefer hex head.

Go ahead and buy a set of grip bushings as well. Sooner or later, when trying to remove your grips, the bushing will come out also. Sometimes, they get damaged when getting the screw out of the bushing.
