I'm new to this forum, retired electrician and happily married for 31 years. We both enjoy shooting pistol or rifle. I'm doing the 10 day wait for my brand spanking new 605 in SS. This isn't my first Taurus, had a .357 mag, blued w/4" barrel, SA/DA many moons ago. Times got tough and it had to go, later replaced with another make .357 mag. The 605 is to replace a well worn and trusted RG Mod. 31, .38 Spl. my wife has shot longer than we've been married. The second thing we want to do with the 605, polish it as paulky_2000 did his, you know the first...

Welcome from the Mid-South!!! As a fellow SS 650 owner, IMHO, you have selected a truly excellent firearm. Mine has no vices, shoots point of aim, ANY 38 or 357 will go bang and it is a well made gun as well. Good luck and once again, welcome to TA, finest gun site on the interwebz.
