Found you guys off a link in a thread on thefirearmsforum.com,

Anyways, to the good stuff:
Purchased my first handgun mid-June (Taurus PT 24/7 Pro in .40S&W), took the course and qualified for my CWP the next weekend. Now I'm just waiting on it to get here.

Looking at making my next purchase a Taurus PT 1911 AR when the shop/range I frequent gets the next shipment in.

Other guns I currently own:
1968 Browning Medalist (.22LR) with Leupold scope - inherited from my grandfather.

Yeah, we love the browning. It developed a loading/premature slide catch problem but once we got the manual and took it apart to clean it properly, we've had no issues.

Welcome to the forum from Griffin Ga.
Thanks! If you're ever up in Greenville, SC, may I recommend trying Allen Arms indoor range :)
(Its where I got my Taurus and where I will be handling my future purchases, so I don't mind throwing them a shameless plug)

Thanks!
Yeah, between the magazine well being full of crud and the magazine itself being full of crud, the solution became rather clear once I got the main grip off and could see all the crud. ;)
