Well, its been 60 friggin' days...but my 1 day old PT145MP finally made it back to me.
You may remember I bought a brand new Gen 3 from Gander Mountain a couple months ago and took it to the range the same day. I was having feed issues, and the magazines kept ejecting while firing. Took it straight back to GM. They sent it off to Taurus who were then nice enough to keep it for two months (and fix it for free ;D).
The fix? The letter that came back stated that they adjusted the magazine button. Whooo! There must've been one hell of a back log of work to be done if it took 2 months for a five minute job. Plus, one of the mags that came with the pistol was damaged at the catch hole. I noted this and marked the mag - which they saw fit to return to me instead of replace and it still does not function.
Not real happy with the service I have received. Luckily, GM is gonna give me a new mag. Let's hope it continues to run ok. Bottom line, they made good on the warranty...unfortunately it just takes a really long time to get it back.
