I brought home my first Glock today and after a thorough cleaning (unnecessary), inserting the new grip plug, and changing to a 3.5# Ghost connector, I headed for the backyard with a box of 180 grain Winchester White Box to see what it would do. It cycled perfectly as you would all expect. I hit the gong every time from 25 feet. The trigger is smooth with a really short reset. I usually shoot .380, 9mm, and 45 and this is my first 40 cal. The recoil is just about equal to the 9mm. I sent an e-mail to Glock last week and got an answer back within an hour that my gun was imported in May of 1993. I find it difficult to believe that this 20 year old hasn't a single mark on it inside or out and I made the only barrel smile. I think I found a near virgin. I like it.
