Went to shoot a used G21sf I purchased, well this thing loves to eject spent casings right into my face. Anyhow have this issue? Might just try calling glock but I suspect being a used gun they are going to tell me to get bent. Figured I would see what you gents had to say.

Glock talk? Yuck! lol Yeah I've been poking around the general consensus seems to be replace the extractor and I'll prolly replace the extractor spring as well. Might just call glock tomorrow see what they say to. It's a Gen 3, I know the Gen 4's had guide rod spring issues though. I always thought the Gen 3 was pretty much bullet proof.

Not really it doesn't look like it's been fired very much, doesn't have much wear. The guy I got it off of claimed less then 50 but who knows for sure.

Of course..

What are the numbers around the circular base of the recoil spring assembly?

If the 21s are the same...

You should see

0 at 9 o'clock
3 at 6 o'clock
4 at 3 o'clock

Old one had the 3 at 6 o'clock omitted
