If anyone gets one of these I would be very grateful if you could upload some pictures of it. If possible maybe some comparison pics with another gun. Thanks all
There's a post with a link that has the G2C at 170 bucks.

Sorry...I didn't see the S...need coffee. I would also like to see any perceived advantage of the S over the increased capacity of the G2 and G2C..
I noticed that that the mag capacity was only 7 rounds, my mags are 12 rounds.
I picked up our G2S this week. I did notice one big (I think) change that should apply to the G2C as well.

The trigger on the G2S isn't gritty at all like all of my other G2s have been. Taurus must have deburred the trigger bar differently than they used to. I see no reason to take it apart and smooth things up since the trigger is really smooth. The only bump in the trigger is from the hole in the striker guide, but that's another story. :)

Anyway, its the smoothest out of the box G2 trigger I've ever seen, and I've seen a few. I expect this is something that is common on the latest versions.

Here's the pic:

I'd like to know if the slide is narrower that the G2c, or the same width. If it's slimmer I can see some situations where it might be useful.

The G2s is the 709 replacement, a single stack. The G2c is the pt111 replacement, a double stack.

Being a single stack did you think it would hold 12?
When I carry a single stack it will be my Kahr CM9. Out and about away from home.... like my G2c just fine. One of few handguns that I have been very pleasantly surprised with. Not sure of the usefulness of the G2s. Not much smaller than the G2c and half the mag capacity just does not work for me.

I'll measure or get a photo next time I get out, which should be in the next day or so. The G2C specifications show it to be 1.25" wide, while the G2S is 1.1". The grip is not as wide, but I will have to look at the slide.

That bump in the trigger--is that only in the double-action pull? Because I don't see how the hole in the striker guide would affect the single action pull.

Because the sear rotates on a pin, so as it moves the striker also moves.

G2S is intended to be competition for the Glock 43 ! I would get one and with the rounded edges on the slide may make it better than my personal Glock 43,I have Pearce plus 1 extensions on my Glockand see no reason why they would not become available for the G2S .
