No. Counter-intuitively springs only wear when they are moving, not when they are still.

Get yourself some kind of pusher and when you're just sitting around cycle the follower up and down. It won't take long

 

2nd that g3c's are the same but they ease up after a bit of use.

The mags are Mec-Gar, they're good to go. I have Mec-Gar CZ75 and P89 mags that are 20+ years old that have cycled 1000s of rounds and are perfectly fine including 3 that were carried loaded by a police Officer for probably decades given the wear on the outside

Taurus using Mec Gar as OEM mags is huge , rather than some craptastic proprietory mag

 

My MechGar Beretta 13 rnd mags are almost as stiff to load as my Glock-17 mags. I have bought about 1/2 dozen UpLulas and give them to friends and family. It has been a definite hand-saver for all of us, as we are all up into our 50's and 60's now.
