Was able to R&R firing pin this morning after the replacement arrived from Brownells.

Removed set screw in back of hammer, then the tiny spring under it. Secondly, used a punch to push the retaining pin out. Reversed procedures to reinstall.

Probably would be easy for many on this forum... But I am just learning and still being really careful when working on my firearms... So I'm pleased with results!

Good to know. I've got a gun with that same firing pin design. Mine is chambered in 32-20.
