Easy takedown, and appears reasonably accurate.:thumb:
The model is fairly new to the market. Has there been any reports of someone getting a bad one yet?Looks like he got a good one. Good to hear. Nice review.
Maybe. Like it or not, Taurus doesn't have a stellar reputation for quality firearms in the industry. It's too early to tell if this model line is reliable or not. Even if it is, it is a pocket 380, and there is a lot of competition in that category. Some people think this category of pistols will decline in popularity anyway, due to pistol consumers wanting more small 9mm pistols for carry guns instead. 9mm is much cheaper to practice with also. I'm not sure if this will turn out to be true, because the pocket size 380 is almost the perfect size for an all the time no excuses carry gun. This little gun is going to be a homerun for Taurus.
but no trigger pull is required to disassemble the Spectrum...(I agree with you, but that was really just demonstrating)The only nit I have to pick with the review was field stripping.
Always remove the magazine first, then check the chamber to ensure it's empty before proceeding.
Otherwise I liked the review and am happy to see it appears to be off and running well!
I meant no offense about your post and am sure you knew the gun was empty.
I only made the point to keep any novices from making a possible mistake in forgetting this step.
The rim of a .380 cartridge works for take down.Couple things missed in this quick video, especially the needs a screw driver for take down comment.
