Took me a whopping 2 minutes to swap mine on when I got the firesights last year for my PT111 and my PT145.
They survived a few hundred rounds in the 9mm and about 300roudns in the 45acp right now and still work.
Only thing was. One time one of the fiberoptic 'tubes' got lose and came out during recoil.
Pushed it back in, added some superglue to the end, and it's been fine since.
