The round is not lining up correctly when being fed from the magazine. Being the last round, it is either nose down or off center.
Do you rap your mags on a table after loading( that will help align bullets )?
You may need to take the mags apart and do some cleaning.
Feed ramp polishing can help sometimes as well, but that is just band aid for a bad feed angle from the magazine.
You may just have weak mag springs, Which can make the rounds not present correctly.
There is always the option of reaching out to Taurus CS, and try and get a new magazine. They may also want to get the pistol back to check out.

The mags are brand new. I don't usually tap the mags but I will try that. I had a ton of issues with flat nosed ammo but the switch to round helped tremendously. Lord God knows I don't want to deal with CS and sending it back from NY is a pain in the ass.

Check the edges of the lips of you magazine. If the round is dragging as it comes off the mag lips it can kick it out of alignment with the ramp and bore. Drylube, friction and drag reducer.
