“The three million Americans who carry a handgun every day represent only .9 percent of the people living in the U.S., but CCL holders stopped 8 percent of the active shooter situations in the past two years. If a greater percentage of the population carried a firearm for self-defense, more incidents like these might have been cut short.”

8 percent? I bet that would be a lot higher, if these incidents didn't happen in "gun free zones".

So, it sounds to me like they are encouraging law-abiding citizens to get their permit and carry. Interesting!

I find it hard to believe the FBI would ever admit this . Remember, these are the idiots who thought that if you buy a firearm online they just mail it to your house
