I have a "History of Smith & Wesson" book by Roy Jinks. It's not just revolvers, but everything made by S&W. Although it is a little outdated, it's a great reference book. Actually it's, the only gun book I own. I bought it when I was a Smith & Wesson snob. I'm all better now, and recovering. :D

Single action and Custom single action books and mags by several authors. Articles by the writers from years past more than this generation.

Yeah, Sixguns by Elmer Keith is a classic. The best treatise ever written on revolvers by the guy who pioneered high power revolver cartiridges. He invented the Magnums. All of them.

hi one of my many favories is Sixguns by Keith

Yes, this is a key book to have on the shelf.. I would add "Cooper on Handguns" by Col. Jeff Cooper, and "Fast and Fancy Revolver Shooting" by Ed McGivern to the list. All three are my favorite.
