I received a new magazine today purchased on line and it doesn't fit. I have a Millennium Pro PT140 and the magazine is in Taurus packaging stating that it's for a "Millennium PT140 Pro". When attempting to install it into the butt it seizes at about the half way mark. It will go all the way in with a good tap of the heel of the hand but them it must be pried out with a screw driver. Both magazines appear identical but when measuring the new one it is .015 thicker in some areas, could that make the difference? The original magazine works as it should? Am I missing something here?

Where did you get the new magazine? Is it a GENUINE Taurus magazine, or a third party labeled for the PT 140?

I know that there were some problems with earlier "generation" Mil Pro's and magazines, but if both are marked for the MilPro than it should work with your generation.

If it is a genuine Taurus, Miami might swap it. You may want to return or exchange it from where you got it.
