I was told my Taurus that the Extractor and Ejector (and their springs and/or pins) are RESTRICTED parts and cannot be ordered. Can you believe this............it seems like a joke. I cannot believe they make life so difficult. Never another Taurus pistol for me. They are so slow with service and I have read stories where they could not find orders of people that shipped in their pistols for repairs. I do not trust to ship my pistol to them.

it does seem like i read somewhere as well that the extractors was restricted.. not sure about the springs though..

ya it's stupid it's just a piece of metal i dont understand why they have this policy..
i've not had to use the warranty service.. i hope i never do because i to have not heard a single good exp where they had to ship the whole gun back.. it always ends badly or slowly..

i'd maybe look around and see if you could find after market.. or another gun that would fit it.. or maybe even have your own machined.. i hope to god that the stories i've read have been exaggerations.

Must be a Policy where they prefer to install and service these particular parts if they become damaged and inspect the rest of the Pistol for further damage. I can see that on the Ejector, should there be Frame Damage, but not the Extractor. Perhaps they also might suspect Slide Damage for that.

Give Numrich Arms a try and see if they have the parts you want.

Numrich Has some parts for some guns but not for alot of the newer guns. Also if you order parts from them you probably will get a used part. I have bought from them before. I personally would rather buy a new extractor than a used one if possible. Here's the list:
