About two weeks ago there was a thread asking about the EAA Windicator and everyone was posting what they heard or seen on a YouTube video. So, I decided to buy one. Looking on Gun Broker, I couldn't find one for less than $350.00 + shipping + transfer.....A man has to know his limitations.
Then the Ex. wants to learn to shoot and I buy a Walther P22, which brings us to the current week. I get a Flyer from Gouger Mountain and low and behold they have them on Labor Day Sale for $299.99....and I buy it.
So, as the resident Guinea pig, here we go.
Don't expect much, straight out of the box. The finish is nice, the fit is solid.

The trigger is it's downfall. The thing has to have a 12# pull in D/A
S/A is short and crisp, but rough around the edges. I'm sure it will smooth out a little. The edges of the trigger are sharp and may cut someone. The trigger guard/trigger bit me once. Other than that, what's not to like about it?
Below is the first honest to goodness twelve shots out of the gun at 21 ft.
The left target is S/A and the right target is D/A. When I was shooting D/A I was certain I was squeezing the trigger so hard I was pulling the gun down, but the p.o.i. was high. The last and sixth shot in D/A I adjusted and shot somewhat low, into the 8 ring.

The S/A overwhelmed me and was no challenge, I shot 12 more rounds in D/A and went home.
For a < $300.00 firearm, I'd say it's a winner.
