Oh, and in that article you can click on the img of the video on the left and the video will pop out. That wasn't clear to me when i looked at it.

This is an update to the "slap" incident from yesterday. It shows the deputys handling the BG pretty rough and allowing the dog in. I am not a LEO so I don't know if any of this was proper. I also know video can be very misleading. Either way looks like a storm for that county is here.
You don't have to be a LEO to know if any of this was proper - it wasn't. Too often cops do the same thing after a chase - their bloods up, and even when the perps are obviously giving up, they feel compelled to administer a little street justice. That isn't their place, and if they can't control their tempers they need to find other employment, IMHO.

Releasing the dog after he was on the ground was poor judgment to say the least.
