Hi Everyone!

I was wondering whether or not Taurus still manufactures a smooth dust cover (no rail) PT92. I find that the rails offset the balance of the PT92 pistol. I already own a used smooth dust cover PT92 and am looking to add another one. I want one to keep in the trunk of my car as a backup. I'm also looking for a compact model to carry.

I own lots of different firearms, but they're range guns. IMO, the PT92 offers me the most choices in carry condition. Locked & cocked, hammer at 1/4 cock DA, hammer at 1/4 cock DA locked. I like having options. :)

Thank you in advance,

John

Not for at least the last four years of so, unless you find a used model or new old stock.

OK, the term "dust cover" is a new one to me. Is this simple a term used for a non railed PT92?
Simple term used for that section in front of the trigger guard on a semi auto, regardless of model pretty much.
I have no idea where that terminology was invented?
Likely a female shooter that found Dust Bunnies inside her gun.
