You are at their mercy. Guess now they are sending out whatever they have available and is the least expensive for them.
Do they still make the G2 in 40 cal
The website still lists a g2 in 40 cal today. The reason I ask is Taurus called me today about my class action pistol, I sent back a 40 pro. They said they did not have anything in 40 cal anymore and I was getting a 9mm. Oh and it will be brown. I asked about any other color option and was told nope just brown. I see black and several options on the website. I believe I have been had. Oh well, almost over I guess. I really expected the g2 9mm but honestly thought I could get at least a black. Do you think they are out of all the color options because of the replacement numbers they are sending out? Thanks

I feel pretty sure that while it was called "Brown", it will be the dark earth finish.

I feel your pain. I sent them my stainless PT145 .45 and will be getting back a PT111 9mm. Since they probably wont send it in stainless, I'm actually hoping for FDE.
Sucks that you guys sent in 40/45 and are getting 9mm back. I know the g2 pt140 is still available from some online stores. Maybe buy it and sell the new 111 when it comes in.
