No loss to me. I haven't ever bought anything from them plus they aren't convenient to get to. They are also high priced.

I heard that also.
I guess I'll continue not shopping there.

Pretty sure they did that after Sandy Hook, or possibly even Columbine. There was a lot of outrage against them then and talk of a boycott.
Never knew they'd started selling them again. I sense they're jumping on the free advertising bandwagon. One of our's went out of business, and the new one they built is in an area that can't support their high prices. Parking lot is always empty, just a matter of time. I'm not convinced their corporate management does their homework regarding their store decisions.

Just another company that can brag about their politically correct stance all the way to the poor house.

Next thing you know, they will no longer support organizations like the NRA. Wishy Washy sporting goods outfit.

Well! I have just cancelled my credit card account I had with Dick's Sporting Goods! I will never set foot in one of their stores again. Yes, most of the time their prices were high, but I would watch for sales to by hunting supplies from time to time, but no more. I will do the same with every company that takes such a stand. My doing this alone will not hurt them, but if we all do it, they will get the message. MAYBE!

The Dicks near me was a fairly good store, prices were a tad high but if you caught stuff on sale it was average price.
then they removed all assault rifles from stock, that was the beginning of the decline here, now the only real good thing about the Dicks here is that there is never a line at checkout time and parking is easy to find a spot.
death by a thousand cuts it seems, well that and stupidity.

Nailed it! Dicks are well ... just that in my experience. Plus they tend to hire idgits to work their gun counters. Just another big box store looking to go bankrupt.

I've never bought anything from Dick's, and now I never will.

I can think of a lot of jokes I could make with puns about the store's name, but they'd all be breaking forum rules, so sadly I must refrain from doing so, but I reckon you all were thinking the same thing as well.

I won't miss them. I haven't been to ick's in over 6 years. We have a Academy in town.

It's dumb from the top down. Owner doesn't know what a standard capacity mag is as he was on morning talk show stating they won't sale high capacity mags or assault type rifles anymore??? Truly from the left.

Did “Cheaper than Dirt MY ASS” ever fully recover from their ill timed head first AR ban after NEWTOWN?
The only thing I ever bought at Dick's was my Maverick 88 and that is because I received a $50 Gift Card for my birthday. There is a huge Dick's at the local mall here. As with others, I will refrain from patronizing their establishment.
