Those cops were awesome! That male cop was not going to wait around for backup when the turd went to his knees. He finished the story. Hope the female officer isn't permanently maimed in all of that. She really kept her cool even after being shot.

This video needs to be shown to grabbers who want to limit capacity, although, of course that would be useless.

Those officers were carrying hi-cap magazines and were able to keep engaging the driver instead of having to change multiple magazines. As the story said they shot this guy several times and he kept firing.

With just 7 or 8 or 9 or 10 round magazines available these officers would likely have been killed (just an opinion) instead of going home that night.

But the grabbers don't want us to have the same capability for self defense.

Thankfully no innocent bystanders or motorists were apparently injured. Both cops reacted well in putting him down for the count even though injured and and trying to cover their butts. Accurate fire is very difficult in any shoot out, but these two officers done a commendable job.

Small town America - Dangerous?

Who says it can't happen in "small town America?" Middlefield, Ohio is a small town about 50 miles southeast of Cleveland. It's in the middle of Amish Country - Geauga County. Sound familiar? Chardon, Ohio is the county seat of Geauga County. Population of Middlefield is around 3000. I was raised in Auburn Township - Geauga County, about 20 miles from Middlefield. I still have property in the area. I now live in the country in NW Ohio. I very seldom am unarmed. It could happen where I live just as easily as it happened in Chardon or Middlefield. And I can also attest to the fact that a the vast majority of the small town cops are as well trained and dedicated as their brothers and sisters in larger metropolitan area. The Geauga County Sheriff's Department, headed up by Dan McClellan is as good as it gets. Arnie Stanko in Middlefield, likewise, is an outstanding Chief. Thank God for those who protect us here in our hometowns.

It doesn't always end so well. I don't know why cops ever stopped running cars with two officers inside. Seems a much safer configuration than one cop by himself.

There's a few 'F' bombs in this, and it's somewhat disturbing, so watch at your own risk...

They could easily have been injured. Hopefully they weren't.

WARNING!!!....It is graphic but it shows you how much it took to take this guy down. Know you know why police do what they do when you are stopped for a minor traffic violation. Sorry for the 2 police, 1 was shot in the hand and the other in the leg according to the reports.

Piers Morgan did a response to this video about banning high capacity magazines. I think it is a good example on why we NEED magazines with the most rounds it can support. When a BG wants to get to you he will do anything in his power and it takes a LOT to stop him.

Hats off to the police for this!!!
