For those of you who live in affected areas, don't forget to set your clocks ahead this Saturday night as DST begins Sunday.

This has been a Public Service Announcement courtesy of the TA staff;D

I hate DST. Texas has talked about not participating recently. I hope this comes to pass. Maybe in this years legislative session.
Smokewagon, you say that you hate DST every year! :D

Arizona, the ONLY state left that doesn't bother changing the clocks to appease a few powerful muckity-mucks who are just fooling everyone into getting up an hour earlier.

And STAYING that way! Join us, Texas! Gooble-gobble-gooble-gobble- we accept you - we accept you - gooble-gobble-gooble-gobble- one of us - one of us!

(10 bonus points if you can name the movie that comes from w/o googling it)

New Mexico has a bill in the legislature to keep us on DST, too. I haven't heard how it's doing, but I hope it passes. Changing clocks twice a year is one of the more stupid things we do in this country.

I change my clock every time I change the battery in the smoke detector.
