I've owned the P07,P09,P10C,P10F-45,Several CZ75's both in full and compact sizes. But never tried out the P10F in 9mm.
So I picked this one up for around $380 OTD new. P10's both compact and Full sku's are being refreshed so these old models are selling cheap and fast.
So what is a P10F? It is a striker fired full size 9mm duty pistol. It comes with 2-19 round magazines, 2-extra back straps, cleaning stuff, manual and lock. This is the base model with steel 3 dot sights.
It weighs 28.2 oz's unloaded, 37.3oz's with 19+1. The P10F is 7 1/2" long, 5 7/8" high and has a 4.5" barrel with the largest 9mm external chamber I have seen, it is almost a bull barrel in size. These are very well made pistols and have no manufacturing marks, burrs etc... Very clean metal work.
The out of box trigger pull was 4.7 lbs, with a 3/16 take up to a good wall with a bit under 1/8" reset. After my lite polishing and a 100 round test the trigger is coming in at 3lb 14oz's. The trigger guard on this pistol is huge, lucky for me since my range test was in the cold and I had to wear gloves.
My old bones don't handle cold anymore and adding gloves to the mix, really stretched out my ability to make my normal good hits at 15 and 10 yards. But the pistol can shoot very accurately, just not me on this day. I would equate it to a Canik Mete SFX as far as accuracy, but with less flip and recoil. It ran the 100 test rounds with no failures, although I think the ejection is a little weaker than I like using blazer brass 115's..But this last case of Blazer I bought has the dirtiest powder and is not burning it all up even with this 4.5" barrel. Gonna try some Speer lawman next time out. Overall it shoots better than I can show here. Might be time to do some shopping around and find yourself a good deal on one of these models before this batch sells out. Thanks for reading.
