It all started when the guy at the LGS asked "Did you ever hold one of these?" as he passed me a CZ85 Combat. Needless to say it came home with me shortly thereafter. Then one evening while finishing reading the entire World Wide Web I came across the Canik55 Stingray-C. Being a low priced CZ clone with excellent reviews demanded that I obtain one so I could objectively ascertain if the claims of others were factual. The more I shot both the more I liked them. Then I read reviews of upgrades CZ made to the P-07 in 2014. Not wanting to let their efforts go unrecognized, I thought it my duty to get a P-07 as a way of showing my appreciation of their hard work. So here they are, top left CZ P-07, top right Canik55 Stingray-C and bottom center CZ85 Combat. They are all reliable, accurate and ergonomic. Excellent single action triggers, generally smooth double action. Never had a failure of any type with them. The P-07 has a polymer frame, the Canik55 and 85 Combat have steel frames.

My 2 CZ's have been perfect out of the box!
the SP-01 Tactical is north of 1200 rounds, the P-01 is north of 1600 rounds and not a single malfunction or failure or even a hint of a problem with either with about 7 different ammo types fired through them.
The P-01 is now my carry gun, the Sp-01 is house duty for me, I did have Cajun Gun install nite sites on the P01.

Nice pair of CZ's. I will probably put the P-07 into the carry rotation.

My next semiauto will probably be a CZ. I like the looks of them and have heard great things
about their accuracy. I'm leaning towards the compact but I also like the CZ-75.

They are accurate and feel good in the hand. The Compact is about the size of a Glock 19, a good all around size.

Hmm… somebody needs a 1911. :D

But yeah, the CZ75 is one of the greats. Probably the most naturally pointing gun ever made. (For me)

I have and enjoy 1911's in 45acp, 9mm and 22. Straying a bit, the Taurus PT1911 in 9mm is one of the most accurate guns I have ever shot. My brother shot my 9mm PT1911 at the range and went home and ordered one.

Good point about the most naturally pointing guns. I guess that is a major contributor to their accuracy reputation.

Awesome CZ family there. I just got my first this week, a CZ 75 clone Canik S120 in chrome. I can't wait to shoot it, although it will take some getting used to the very thin slide.

well for me the accuracy in my hand, the reliability of this as carry (P-01 is an alloy frame) it was a had to be carry weapon.
now it replaced the Beretta PX4SC as a carry and that weapon has been 120% as well, the CZ-P-01 just feels better and is more accurate for me.
The sweet thing is that If I go to the SP-01 (full size and all steel, its oeration is identical) DA (half cock) SA, both have the decocker, same sights, same grip size (SP is longer) but they shoot the same and operation is the same.
