Custom barrels for PT111 G2 or G2C?

Hi everyone!

I am new to the group and really happy to join the Taurus group, but I am wondering if there is a company that does custom barrels for our guns just like Glock does? I did do some basic research on google and only found 1 possible barrel that is "blued" but there was not even a picture available. Any suggestions? I would like not to send it to a professional gunsmith because then I would need to get a second barrel to use while the other one is being modded. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum from Northern Illinois! I've not heard of any other parts available for them besides Lakeline, LLC for sights, springs and other items. Are you looking for a threaded barrel for a suppressor?

Thanks for the reply! And I have seen multiple videos online about the offerings of Lake Line, but the barrel modification is mainly for cosmetics wise. Nothing threaded for a suppressor but just so it could be for example, gold, neochrome, red, etc. I know it is not a "upgrade" to anything. But it is something I have been thinking about since I noticed this kind of aftermarket support on other platforms. In no disrespect to Taurus it is mainly just to see if there is a company that provides that to us.

YUP Cerakote or self blue, I know of no aftermarket support like the Glock perfection with a ton of aftermarket support to make it perfecter?

Since you asked, are there any threaded barrel options for a suppressor? Say for a pt638?

I just polished mine and called it a day. Depending on how much you want to spend, you can have the barrel refinished in one of those cool self lubricating finishes. The slide and controls are definitely going to happen for me (Since they all rust) but I need to figure out what I want before I do it.

If Lakeline offered their extended barrel without the threads I'd want one. Going to do some firing unmodified first. The steel firing pin guide looks like the upgrade that should provide the most real benefit. I'm never going to use the silly lock anyway. Is there a way to remove it completely and plug the hole? I'm not in one of the States where that might be frowned upon.

I may even give them a shout for my G2c/PT145 barrels.
