Hello folks! I want to get a PT 145 this weekend. I've seen a wide range of prices that people have said they paid for this gun. There is a gun show here in Houston this weekend, and just wanted to know what I should expect to pay. I've only been able to find one store in town that had the Blued in stock and it was $349. That isnt a bad price, but I've read where people bought them for a lot less. Let me know what you folks have seen!

Thanks

I bought mine from a shady pawn shop new for 400 cash after taxes and all. I got a Fobus holster and a box of Hydra Shocks included in with them. So ... I think I did alright, but like you said, there's always acheaper price than what you or I will pay.

At the Gun Shows I've been them priced from $309 to $349. I paid $329 for my S.S. PT145 at the gun shop because I didn't want to wait until the next show and pay my $10 entrance. Shop around... and yes, regions of the country makes a lot of difference.

PT 145 Pro Stainless Steel manufactured in 2007. Last month(April) I bought it for for 319. here in central Kentucky. I have 3 local small shops that I usually pick from. My favorite mom & pop had it for 319. The other two had used 145 Pro's for 360. Obviously I went with mom&pop.

Figure $325 to be a good buy. Any less is a real deal around here. Expect to see them going for around $349 before summer is out. Ammo prices are going up June 1st, and expect another hike July 1st. Gun prices are likely to increase as well.

I saw some at a Dallas gun show for $300. At the time I was not in the market for one. A couple of months later I WAS in the market for one and bought one from Gander Mountain for $350.

Like I said, this was last winter. Went down there today to look at a snubbie .357 and checked, the PT145 SS is now $315, which is still not bad.

And nope to the E. TX, I live in W. CO. (although I grew up in S. TX)

Mr Mayface,
If you live in east Texas, check out the Tyler Gun Show at Harvey Hall the next time it comes around. You can get that gun for around $300 at the show. There is a table set up by a dealer out of Dallas. They have GREAT prices. Or, you can go to the Dallas show sometime. You'll be guaranteed to get a good deal on one.
