Just bought a Taurus TX-22, and noticed on my first time out with it, that the front sight is crooked. It leans to the right probably 5-10 degrees.
Can anyone tell me how the front sight if held onto the slide? Figure if I can take it off, I can level it with a file, I believe it's plastic.

I believe it's held on by a screw. Take off the slide and look at it from the inside, you'll see it. Now what size it is, who knows? The good news is that a Glock front sight will fit with just a bit of file work. Dawson has some nice ones for the Glock.
