Are you kidding? It's really friggin' cold in NE Pennsylvania. Seriously, though, I'm waiting for a heavier gauge spring I ordered for it. I will need it in order to shoot 230 grain ball ammo. At the moment she is set up to shoot 185 grain.
wow that is one fine lookin colt.
Sweeeeet !!
Drool drool. Of course my Model 70 with adjustable sights isn't far behind in look, feel and function.
Looks Good to Me...<:))
Very nice...and with the Delta Elite being re-introduced in 10mm I might have to pick up my first 1911 ever. Now if only Colt would stop being so stubborn and get back into the DA revolver arena.
Man, would I love a new Detective Special.

Yesterday I picked up a couple of buddies to go along with the Colt. I think I'm well over the Beretta compact that slipped by me :D

Hi-ho Silver, awayyyy!!!

the stable is getting full ;D

If I'm lucky I'll find the final piece that I am looking for this weekend at a gunshow I'm going to. A Colt commander xse.

schlemer---what are your plans for that Springfield G.I. model? I know you're not gonna leave it as is.

Yes indeed, as is. I wanted a base model and since I already have the PT1911s, which are essentially upgraded guns. I thought it would be really cool being able to fire what the army was shooting back in the day. Even if it is only a (Brazilian) replica. I'm glad you like it. In all honesty, I have really been smitten by the 1911 bug.
Just picked up a SA 1911 A-1 mill-spec and now I know how smitten with a 1911 is. What a fun gun to shoot and all that metal and weight gives it a comforting feel, only have a couple hundred rounds through it and no FTF or feed peoblems. That Colt is a beautiful 1911!
when i was in iraq my unit placed an order with SA for some Stainless 1911a1's. They have our unit logo's, unit name, and dates in which we deployed only 80 were built for us.

Nice I bet that's one gun that you'll never sell, thank's for your service.
I have put one box of 50 through it. and this pistol will remain in the family as long i have any say in it.
Very nice fords4life, thank you for sharing.
