I've short my pistol a fair amount and I like it except - recently I've sometimes had to strike the primer more than once to fire.

The firing pin indentation seems OK. My assumption is that dirt has built up in the striker parts in the slide.

I can't find a way to dissemble the slide to clean and possibly remove burrs. Flushing the interior with Gun Scrubber and oil helped some, but now enough.

Does anybody know how to dissemble the striker for cleaning?

Thanks.

You put oil on the striker assembly? Someone correct me if I am wrong, I dont think your suppose to put oil in there. Maybe something to do with that.

I flushed the assembly with Gun Scrubber, which removes lubrication along with dirt, and then I reoiled the parts. The problem appeared prior to my cleaning efforts.

I flush mine out with Remoil in the spray can. I don't think a little CLP would hurt either. JMO
