Well here is another one of those stories you hate to read about...

http://www.wlky.com/automotive/17120347/detail.html

But what if he really didnt brandish his weapon? It's his word against hers. Ironically I had something like this happen about 20 years ago. It wasnt road rage, it was an on going feud with an individual, and we rode by said individuals house one night and I flipped him the bird out the passenger window, and found myself in some mediation room sometime later because he said I waved a gun at him. I didnt even have a gun with me at the time.

Yes, I know, just avoid conflicts all together and these kind of things cant play out. You have to be young and dumb before you can become old and wise, or that's the way it works for most I believe. But the guy in this story was what? 71? ouch.

Wow, sucks to be him. I think he will lose his permit now also, and he won't be able to get it renewed for 5 years (at least thats how it works in Texas).

A preacher. <sigh> (shaking my head slowly, trying to absorb that)

If he had a permit, he needs to have it revoked. People like this give concealed carriers a very bad name.

Well according to the article the lady says he waved the gun at her. My guess would be that LEOs would have asked the woman what the gun looked like, i know shes not gonna know what make and model, but she would know weather it was a pistol or revolver, and if what she said matches what he was carrying yep. but according to the article this was not mentioned only mention was judge took her side, im sure she wasnt much of an angel either, hard for me to believe that a Preacher would act this way but it happens its unfortunate.

This is why they teach conflict resolution in conceal carry classes.
