The prices look about like the rest of the standard lines MSRPs out there. For those prices I'll get a name that I've heard of (as far as AR's) and trust. What I wonder is who's actually making them?

The home page says the right things to try and sell them (US made, 5.56 chambers, blah blah blah).

I usually build my AR's for around $500-600 and if I need one prebuilt I get one from Superior Arms for about $800.00. Most AR's (Bushmaster, DPMS, etc...) are just way over priced and are not any better then the ones I get. In fact I prefer the fit and finish of Superior Arms products over any other AR's.

The trick is getting an AR with a chrome lined barrel. I looked at Rock River, and Stag arms and none of their liturature states that while Oly will only state if the barrel is offered in stainless. Model 1 and says theirs does however as well as bushmaster. Whether or not your prefer a chromlined barrel is for you to decide. Me, I like stainless and two of my AR's have an OLY stainless barrel upper on them. As for Charles Daly, it's too early to tell if they are quality. I know everybody and their mother are cranking out ARs right now so the prices should be going down, not up.

Rock River has chrome lined as an option. You have to look at the barrel options I think.
