I was at Big 5 looking at the Mossberg 590 they had on sale and came across the Daly Its a 5 shot 18 1/2" barrel synthetic stock that seems to be very well put together and at 249.00 regular price its very attractive. Oh yes,the finish is black chrome. I've googled and googled and cant find any info on it as far as reviews and what accesories are available for it and was wondering if any of you folks had any?

Thanks.........

It is funny that you brought this up. When looking for an inexspensive HD/PD shotgun, the Charles Daly was one that I was considering. What's funny is I ended up with a 590. There are quite a few decent 12ga shotguns in the 18.5" to 20" barrel catagory that are more reasonably priced than the 590. When I initially started looking, I wanted a "closet gun" for around $250. Obviously I blew my budget! Anyway, I also looked at the Mavrick 88, NEF/HR Pardner, Escort, and yes, even the Norinco 98. Most of these guns can be had new for $200 or less. The only draw back I found with the Charles Daly was the lack of aftermarket equipement. I wanted a tactical stock and no one seems to make one for the CD. As far as reviews, I didn't have a lot of luck either. The one I handled (didn't shoot) seemed to be on par as far as overall quality and fit and finish, of the other guns in that price range.
