I have a line on a crimson trace lazer point grip for a beretta 92 for a really low price. Can I put the grip on my taurus 92? I know I won't be able to work the decocker but I have never used that anyway. I have no problem shaving some plastic off if needed. This is not a home defense gun, just a range toy. I am also not worried about the appearance of a chopped up grip if the screw holes line up. Any insight? thanks

CTC's are wrap arounds, and I believe the Taurus has a different grip contour than the Beretta. On top of that, the laser module in the CTC grips is right about (if not exactly) where the frame mounted safety sits.

Hopefully someone knows more about it than me, but I don't think it will work.

I believe that there might be a difference in the mag release location as well.
I would NOT take the chance unless you have an extra Beretta 92 as a back up plan for their use.

I called Crimson Trace a while back when I still had my PT92 and they said the Beretta grip WILL NOT fit the Taurus PT92. All due to the frame mounted safety on the Taurus. Just like olds442tyguy stated, the laser and the safety are in the same space. It won't work.
