$24.00 a brick seems a little high, but then if you don't have any and want it I guess you are going to have to pay for it. Personally I have enough 22LR to last me for some time even though some of it is nearly old enough to vote!

I ordered two 525-round Value packs of Federal from Cabela's website on Jan. 5. The last email I received regarding status was the expected arrival date was 4/25/13. Walmart hasn't had these in stock since October of last year, and the LGS around here have some clunker brands at outrageous prices. And to think I bought .22s to save plinking money. Silly me.

I'd be surprised if we ever see it lower then that again.

An update on the Cabela's order: Ordered on 1/5/13, mail was sent shortly after ordering stating tentative arrival on 3/25. Email a month later said expected arrival on 4/25. That date has come and gone, too, and yesterday received email that they expect them on 5/25 this time. Dayum!

It's easier to pick up ammo physically at Cabelas when they open. I watched about a dozen people pass up grabbing a Box of CCI Mini mags (100 ct) and they all seemed to gravitate to the larger count boxes of whatever there was. I managed to get a 325 ct box of Choot ems which are Minimags anyways. I also got 2 boxes of Blazer brass 9mm for about 15 bucks each.
