Does anyone know - off the top of their head - if Taurus has any stainless finishes that are tactical black?

i am not sure of any, but it would be nice to see some like the M&P's that S&W has out now.

Hm, right now I could get an M&P for the same money as a 24/7, up the street on sale. Are they black stainless?

JimL I have 2 m&ps. The .40 and .45 and the metal is a stainless with I believe its called melonite coating.

Sorry. You only said "melonite coating." Nothing about black. That apparently means something to people know what it is.

You can't melonite/tenifer or blue stainless steel, but it is a very good finish for non stainless.

I got a blue 24/7 because I don't care for a flashy gun. It occurs to me that stainless would be good inside and out, but I'd prefer black on the outside.
