Picked up a Taurus PT 840 C, new in the case, for $380, tax included.
It's slim, fairly light @ 24.7 (imagine that!), and with a little tap of the brass hammer on the rear sights is a tack driver at 15 yards.
It came with two mags - 11 & a 15 w/ a spacer.
While a little longer than my 24/7C w/ a 3.6" barrel, it still fits all my holsters.
It's 1.125" thin at the safety (right hand controls only), 6.625 oal, and 5.5 tall. I'm on the small side at 5'6" and 160, and carry this OTW in a Bianchi Fold-Away wearing a t-shirt and no one knows (only down side is the slide wears a hole in my britches between the from and back pockets). It also has a slightly smaller barrel to palm ratio, so perceived recoil is a bit less than the 24/7C. Also uses Glock style dis-assembly latch.
The safety is also a de-cocker that stops the hammer at half-cock. The only other safety device is the firing pin block. I carry cocked and locked.
I'm a bit old school and prefer hammer fired pistols, so this one suits me right down to the ground. My only complaint is I can't find 11 rd mags for it.
