Everything I have read says that the 24/7 OSS DS has a 5" barrel, however mine is 4". IS the measurement include the chamber? Just wondering why there is a disparity in the barrel length. Any ideas,or comments would be helpful.

Yeah, that's a rather general rule on most guns, handgun or long gun. Chamber is almost always included in the measurement.

That is something Ive never understood. You would think the measurement would be taken from directly in front of the chamber, considering thats where the bullet starts down the barrel, where the chamber is just basically holding the bullet in place.

If the chamber is attached to the bbl then it is included with the measurement.
If it is a separate piece such as in a revolver then it is not.

It was always my understanding that barrel length is measured breech to muzzle. So that would include the chamber.
Except revolver, like k4swb said.
