Actually I saw that one too.....just kinda figured the other one costs 2x as much- it might be better?
But you use it- if you like it- then that one may do better.

been thinking of making a horizontal magazine holster with leather. i have all the materials and tools.....now, if i could get my lazy rear in gear it wouldn't take long.

I've purchased two different horizontal magazine holders / holsters, one each from two different companies, but I haven't worn them outside the house yet. One is from Galco and I don't recall the other brand. I'm completely revamping my carry approach.

I have tried the soft one and found that the magazine would slide to freely in and out of it. Not confident that it would hold magazine securely.

No problem so far. I use it everyday. I leave the magazine in all the time. Since it’s a stretchy material I suppose it could be stretched out with over use. The belt slides in without removing the mag so I just leave it in when changing pants
